Our Capital Markets team has spent the last five years working with traders, market makers and liquidity providers across the entire ETF trading universe to make sure they understand how WisdomTree ETFs are structured and managed. As a result, the trading community feels more comfortable trading our products in the marketplace and providing block liquidity directly to our client base via the block ETF market.
Sitting at the capital markets desk at WisdomTree gives our team a unique perspective on the exchange-traded funds (ETF) industry. Oftentimes we are able to spot emerging trends among particular products and segments of the market due to our interactions with all the market participants in the ETF industry.
ETFs trade on the secondary market (stock exchange) but are created and redeemed on the primary market (issuance). There is still a bit of confusion over the difference between these two markets, how they interact with each other and how investors can access liquidity via either market.
