Important Risk Information

This information must be preceded or accompanied by a prospectus, click here to view or download prospectus. We advise you to consider the fund's objectives, risks, charges and expenses carefully before investing. The prospectus contains this and other important information about the fund. Please read the prospectus carefully before you invest.

There are risks associated with investing, including possible loss of principal. Because the Fund is new, it has no performance history. Blockchain technology is a relatively new and untested technology, with little regulation. Potential risks include vulnerability to fraud, theft, or inaccessibility, and future regulatory developments effect its viability. Investments focused in a particular sector, such as technology, are subject to greater risk, and are more greatly impacted by market volatility, than more diversified investments. Companies that are capitalizing on innovation and developing technologies to displace older technologies or create new markets may not be successful. Cybersecurity attacks affecting the Fund’s third-party service providers, App, blockchain network, or the issuers of securities in which the Fund invests may subject the Fund to many of the same risks associated with direct cybersecurity breaches.

Blockchain Fees, Functionality and Transaction Processing.

A blockchain is an open, distributed ledger that digitally records transactions in a verifiable and immutable (i.e., permanent) way using cryptography. A distributed ledger is a database in which data is stored in a decentralized manner. Cryptography is a method of storing and transmitting data in a particular form so that only those for whom it is intended can read and process it. A blockchain stores transaction data in “blocks” that are linked together to form a “chain”, and hence the name blockchain. Users of blockchains, such as Stellar and Ethereum, must pay transaction fees to the blockchain in order to validate a transaction, which in the case of Stellar and Ethereum is in the form of lumens or ether, the native digital asset for the operation of Stellar and Ethereum, respectively. These transaction fees will be the responsibility of WisdomTree Digital Management or its affiliates; Fund investors will not be required to purchase any such blockchain native digital currency, such as lumens or ether.

  • Fund Distribution Yield - Fund Distribution Yield is calculated by annualizing the most recent Fund distribution and dividing by the current Fund NAV. The yield represents a single distribution from the Fund and does not represent the total returns of the Fund.
  • SEC 30-day Yield – The yield figure reflects the dividends and interest earned during the period, after the deduction of the fund’s expenses. This is also referred to as the “standardized yield”.
  • Portfolio Dividend Yield - Represents the aggregate weighted yield on the portfolio securities held by a fund on a specified date. The Portfolio Dividend Yield is calculated on a daily basis and “looks through” to the actual holdings of the fund. It creates a snapshot each day of the weighted yield of each portfolio holding based on the 12-month trailing dividend per share divided by its current price. This does not represent any Funds actual distribution. The yield is NOT a current yield since no annualizing factor is used. The Gross Portfolio Dividend Yield reflects the total amount of distributions on each security in the Fund’s portfolio. For investments in U.S. securities, the gross yield and the net yield will be identical.
  • Gross Buyback Yield – Represents the company’s gross share repurchase over the past year to its market capitalization.
  • Net Buyback Yield – Represents the amount of a company’s net share repurchase over the past year to its market capitalization.
  • Price/Earnings (P/E) Ratio – Share price divided by earnings per share. Lower numbers indicate an ability to access greater amounts of earnings per dollar invested.
  • Estimated Price/Earnings Ratio - Share price divided by estimated 12-month earnings per share. Lower numbers indicate an ability to access greater amounts of estimated 12-month earnings per dollar invested.
  • Price/Book (P/B) Ratio – Share price divided by book value per share. Lower numbers indicate an ability to access greater amounts of earnings per dollar invested.
  • Price/Sales (P/S) Ratio - The ratio for valuing a stock relative to its own past performance, other companies or the market itself.
  • Price/Cash Flow (P/CF) Ratio - Share price divided by cash flow per share. Lower numbers indicate an ability to access greater amounts of cash flows per dollar invested.
