Jeremy J. Siegel

WisdomTree Senior Economist

Jeremy J. Siegel, WisdomTree’s Senior Economist, is the Emeritus Professor of Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Siegel has written and lectured extensively about the economy and financial markets and is a regular contributor to the financial news media. In 1994, he received the highest teaching rating in a ranking of business school professors conducted by BusinessWeek magazine. His book Stocks for the Long Run was named by The Washington Post as one of the 10 best investment books of all time. His second book, The Future for Investors, was a bestseller, and his research on dividend investment strategies in that book coincided with WisdomTree’s development of its original family of dividend-weighted stock ETFs, the first of which launched in 2006. Currently, Professor Siegel and WisdomTree collaborate on a suite of Model Portfolios that incorporate Professor Siegel’s outlook for stock and bond returns and the latest research from the sixth edition of Stocks for the Long Run.

Prior to establishing WisdomTree, Jonathan founded, and served as Chairman and CEO of Individual Investor Group, Inc. From 1998 to 2004, he held the role of Editor-in-Chief of Individual Investor and Ticker magazines. Before his entrepreneurial accomplishments, Jonathan was an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions division at Bear Stearns & Co. He attended The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is the author of Midas Investing, published by Random House in 1996.

Global Chief Investment Officer

Jeremy Schwartz has served as Global Chief Investment Officer since November 2021 and leads WisdomTree’s investment strategy team in the construction of WisdomTree’s equity Indexes, quantitative active strategies and multi-asset Model Portfolios. Jeremy joined WisdomTree in May 2005 as a Senior Analyst, adding Deputy Director of Research to his responsibilities in February 2007. He served as Director of Research from October 2008 to October 2018 and as Global Head of Research from November 2018 to November 2021. Before joining WisdomTree, he was a head research assistant for Professor Jeremy Siegel and, in 2022, became his co-author on the sixth edition of the book Stocks for the Long Run. Jeremy is also co-author of the Financial Analysts Journal paper “What Happened to the Original Stocks in the S&P 500?” He received his B.S. in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and hosts the Behind the Markets podcast. Jeremy is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia.

Christopher Gannatti, CFA

Global Head of Research

Christopher Gannatti began at WisdomTree as a Research Analyst in December 2010, working directly with Jeremy Schwartz, CFA®, Director of Research. In January of 2014, he was promoted to Associate Director of Research where he was responsible to lead different groups of analysts and strategists within the broader Research team at WisdomTree. In February of 2018, Christopher was promoted to Head of Research, Europe, where he was based out of WisdomTree’s London office and was responsible for the full WisdomTree research effort within the European market, as well as supporting the UCITs platform globally. In November 2021, Christopher was promoted to Global Head of Research, now responsible for numerous communications on investment strategy globally, particularly in the thematic equity space. Christopher came to WisdomTree from Lord Abbett, where he worked for four and a half years as a Regional Consultant. He received his MBA in Quantitative Finance, Accounting, and Economics from NYU’s Stern School of Business in 2010, and he received his bachelor’s degree from Colgate University in Economics in 2006. Christopher is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation.

Rick Harper
Rick Harper

Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income and Model Portfolios

Rick Harper serves as the Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income and Model Portfolios at WisdomTree Asset Management, where he oversees the firm’s suite of fixed income and currency exchange-traded funds. He is also a voting member of the WisdomTree Model Portfolio Investment Committee and takes a leading role in the management and oversight of the fixed income model allocations. He plays an active role in risk management and oversight within the firm.

Rick has over 29 years investment experience in strategy and portfolio management positions at prominent investment firms. Prior to joining WisdomTree in 2007, Rick held senior level strategist roles with RBC Dain Rauscher, Bank One Capital Markets, ETF Advisors, and Nuveen Investments. At ETF Advisors, he was the portfolio manager and developer of some of the first fixed income exchange-traded funds. His research has been featured in leading periodicals including the Journal of Portfolio Management and the Journal of Indexes. He graduated from Emory University and earned his MBA at Indiana University.

Kevin Flanagan
Kevin Flanagan

Head of Investment and Fixed Income Strategy

Kevin serves as the Head of Investment and Fixed Income Strategy. In this role, he writes macro and fixed income-related content and works closely with the sales, research and marketing teams. In addition, Kevin conducts client-facing webinars and meetings, providing expertise on WisdomTree’s existing and future bond ETFs. Prior to joining WisdomTree, Kevin spent 30 years at Morgan Stanley, where he was Managing Director and Chief Fixed Income Strategist for Wealth Management. He was responsible for tactical and strategic recommendations and created asset allocation models for fixed income securities. He was a contributor to the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Global Investment Committee, primary author of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s monthly and weekly fixed income publications, and collaborated with the firm’s Research and Consulting Group Divisions to build ETF and fund manager asset allocation models. Kevin has an MBA from Pace University’s Lubin Graduate School of Business, and a B.S. in Finance from Fairfield University.

Bradley Krom
Bradley Krom

U.S. Head of Research

Bradley Krom joined WisdomTree as a member of the research team in December 2010. He is involved in creating and communicating WisdomTree’s thoughts on global markets, as well as analyzing existing and new fund strategies. Prior to joining WisdomTree, Bradley served as a senior trader on a proprietary trading desk at TransMarket Group. Bradley is a graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Will Peck
Will Peck

Head of Digital Assets

Will Peck serves as Head of Digital Assets. In this role, he oversees WisdomTree’s digital asset, crypto and blockchain initiatives. These initiatives include crypto asset management products, tokenization and WisdomTree’s digital wallet offering, WisdomTree Prime. Previously, he served as Head of Strategy and Emerging Technologies for WisdomTree. Prior to WisdomTree, he worked in investment banking for Bank of America Merrill Lynch covering a range of financial services companies. Will serves on the Board of Directors of Securrency, Inc., a technology company focused on blockchain-based financial services infrastructure. He graduated cum laude from Harvard University.

Jeff Weniger, CFA
Jeff Weniger, CFA

Head of Equity Strategy

Jeff Weniger, CFA, has been with WisdomTree since 2017 and serves as the Head of Equities. He shapes the firm’s market outlook through a combination of macroeconomic and fundamental analysis. With more than two decades in investment strategy, Jeff is known for his work on market cycles and valuations. Before joining WisdomTree, Jeff was with BMO Private Bank and BMO Global Asset Management for 11 years. At BMO, he sat on the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee and co-managed ETF model portfolios across the U.S. and Canada. In 2013, at age 32, he became the youngest member of BMO’s Global Investment Forum. When he left BMO to come to WisdomTree, his final role was Director, Senior Strategist in the Office of the CIO in 2017.

Jeff is a frequent television guest on networks such as CNBC, Bloomberg, and Schwab, with regular print appearances in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and Reuters. He also appears weekly on the Behind the Markets podcast and is a regular on SiriusXM’s The Business Briefing. On X, Jeff has developed one of the larger followings in financial media. He earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He has held the CFA charter since 2006.

Carl Petty
Carl Petty

Head of Leadership and Talent Development

Over the past three decades Carl has led high-performing teams and helped thousands of senior leaders excel as they faced their own leadership challenges. He began his career flying F-14 Tomcats off aircraft carriers, leading dozens of combat missions over Iraq and Bosnia as the youngest mission commander in the #1-ranked fighter squadron in the U.S. Navy, followed by several years flying Tornados as the lone foreign exchange officer in a German fighter squadron. After leaving the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander after 10 years and earning an MBA, Carl commenced his career as a strategy and leadership consultant with Bain and Company and The River Group that spanned 4 continents and a wide variety of industries, including biotech, telecom, hotels, mining, private equity and financial services. Among his accomplishments as a consultant, Carl designed operational performance measurement systems for the world’s largest platinum mining company as well as The World Bank and designed and delivered executive education leadership programs for senior executives in the armed forces and Fortune 500 corporations. He also served as a coach and lecturer in Harvard Business School’s executive education program for C-Suite leaders. Carl earned a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he was a Company Commander and foreign exchange officer to the Royal Norwegian Navy, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Carl has partnered with WisdomTree since 2008 and formally joined the company full time in 2015.

Liqian Ren
Liqian Ren

Director of Modern Alpha

Liqian Ren, Ph.D., joined WisdomTree as Director of Modern Alpha in 2018. She leads WisdomTree’s quantitative investment capabilities and serves as a thought leader for WisdomTree’s Modern Alpha® approach. Liqian was previously at Vanguard, where she worked for 12 years, most recently as a portfolio manager in the Quantitative Equity Group managing Vanguard’s active funds and conducting research on factor strategies. Prior to joining Vanguard, she was an associate economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Liqian received her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Peking University in Beijing, her master’s in Economics from Indiana University—Purdue University Indianapolis, and her MBA and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Liqian co-hosts a podcast on China and Asian markets with Jeremy Schwartz, WisdomTree’s Global Head of Research, and she is a co-host on the Wharton Business Radio program Behind the Markets on SiriusXM 132.

Joe Tenaglia, CFA, CMT
Joe Tenaglia, CFA, CMT

Director, Model Portfolios

Joe Tenaglia joined WisdomTree as Asset Allocation Strategist in 2016. He is responsible for building and managing WisdomTree’s CIO-managed and custom model portfolios. In this role he focuses on asset allocation, security selection, and portfolio construction for the firm’s open architecture models, with objectives ranging from strategic to tactical. Joe sits on WisdomTree’s Model Portfolio Investment Committee, which oversees the firm’s ETF models and helps shape and communicate WisdomTree’s thoughts on the markets. Prior to joining WisdomTree, he held roles at Emerging Global Advisors (acquired by Columbia Threadneedle) and BNY Mellon. Joe received his B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Boston College. He is a holder of both the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and Chartered Market Technician designation.

Alejandro Saltiel, CFA

Head of Indexes, U.S.

Alejandro Saltiel joined WisdomTree in May 2017 as part of the Quantitative Research team. Alejandro oversees the firm’s Equity indexes and actively managed ETFs. He is also involved in the design and analysis of new and existing strategies. Alejandro leads the quantitative analysis efforts across equities and alternatives and contributes to the firm’s website tools and model portfolio infrastructure. Prior to joining WisdomTree, Alejandro worked at HSBC Asset Management’s Mexico City office as Portfolio Manager for multi-asset mutual funds. Alejandro received his Master’s in Financial Engineering degree from Columbia University in 2017 and a Bachelor’s in Engineering degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2010. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Ryan Krystopowicz, CFA

Head of RIA Portfolio Solutions Distribution & Specialists

Ryan drives the commercialization of model portfolio solutions and supports advisor growth strategies. He plays a central role in WisdomTree’s Model Portfolio Research Study, advancing insights on model adoption, advisor behavior and prospecting opportunities. Ryan's passion for third-party model portfolios and investment outsourcing was cultivated during his tenure at a Registered Investment Advisor, where he held roles across research and operations. He also brings WisdomTree’s research on advisor online presence to life through high-impact programming that turns key findings into practical guidance for improving digital credibility and prospect engagement. Ryan is a CFA charterholder and a graduate of Loyola University of Maryland.

Matt Wagner joined WisdomTree in May 2017 as an Analyst on the Research team. He currently serves as a Director, where he supports the creation, maintenance, and reconstitution of WisdomTree’s indexes and actively managed ETFs. Matt began his career at Morgan Stanley, working as an analyst in Treasury Capital Markets from 2015 to 2017, focusing on unsecured funding planning, execution, and risk management. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in 2015 with a B.A. in International Studies, concentrating in Economics. In 2020, he earned a Certificate in Advanced Valuation from NYU Stern. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Brian Manby, CFA

Equity Strategist

Brian Manby is an Equity Strategist at WisdomTree and part of the Investment Strategy team.

He is responsible for developing and communicating equity market insights, investment themes, and portfolio strategies that support the firm’s ETF and investment solutions platform. He evaluates sectors, valuations, fundamentals and equity styles to identify investment opportunities and provide actionable perspectives to clients and advisors. He also helps investors understand how WisdomTree’s equity strategies can be used to achieve long-term investment objectives in evolving market environments.

Brian joined WisdomTree in October 2018 as an Investment Strategy Analyst after a few years as a Consultant for FactSet Research Systems, Inc. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Connecticut in 2016 and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 2022.

Brendan Loftus joined WisdomTree in 2016 covering our global range of equity, currency, and bond funds along with their corresponding markets. In his present role, he leads the firm’s Portfolio Solutions team, offering specialized guidance and conducting comprehensive analyses of strategies within the context of model portfolios. His passion for investment strategy resonates through his commitment to delivering meticulously personalized investment solutions, thereby empowering our clientele to realize their unique portfolio objectives. Prior to joining WisdomTree, Brendan worked in several wealth-management related roles for Morgan Stanley and Incapital, LLC. Brendan received his B.B.A. with honors in Finance and Economics from Villanova University in 2016.

Andrew Okrongly joined WisdomTree in 2022 as a Director on the Model Portfolios Team. He is responsible for the design and ongoing management of model portfolios and custom solutions for portfolio managers and advisors. Andrew is also a member of the Model Portfolio Investment Committee. Prior to joining WisdomTree, Andrew was a Director on the Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) team at Commonfund, where he was responsible for macro-economic analysis and advising institutional clients on strategic and tactical asset allocation. Andrew began his career at BlackRock where he held a variety of fixed income and multi-asset investment roles. Andrew received a BBA degree from the University of Michigan and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Blake Heimann

Senior Associate, Quantitative Research

Blake Heimann joined WisdomTree in 2020 and, in his current role as Senior Associate, supports the creation, maintenance, and reconstitution of our indices. Blake began his career in finance in 2017 as an Analyst at TD Ameritrade, and later a Quantitative Analyst with focuses on research and development of machine learning applications in finance. Blake has bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Iowa State University, as well as his Masters in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, with a specialization in Machine Learning. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Finance from the London School of Economics.

Behnood Noei serves as Director of Fixed Income at WisdomTree Asset Management, where he develops the firm’s suite of fixed income and currency exchange-traded funds and enhances existing investment processes. Behnood has 11 years investment experience in portfolio management and quantitative research. Prior to joining WisdomTree in 2022, Behnood was a portfolio manager and developer of some of the fixed income ETFs at J.P.Morgan Asset Management, where he was directly responsible for managing more than 7 Fixed Income ETFs and multiple SMAs with more than $13Billion in assets. He graduated from The Ohio State University with Master of Science degree in Finance and is a CFA charter holder.

Hyun Kang joined WisdomTree in July 2022 as a Research Analyst. As a part of the Index team, he assists with the creation and maintenance of the firm’s indexes and supports the group’s research initiatives across various strategies. Hyun graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, with a B.S. in Business Administration and an additional major in Statistics and Machine Learning.

Ayush Babel is the Director of Quantitative Research in WisdomTree's multi-asset quantitative research and index teams. In this role, he focuses on developing innovative quantitative strategies across various asset classes while supporting WisdomTree's diverse range of products. His expertise spans factor exploration, portfolio construction and optimization, quantitative investment research, and product development.

With over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Ayush has held investment research roles at J.P. Morgan and Franklin Templeton. At these institutions, he was responsible for developing and managing equity and fixed income smart beta products, as well as cross-asset risk premia solutions for global institutional and retail clients. His experience covers a broad spectrum of asset classes and investment styles.

Ayush holds a bachelor's in Engineering Physics and a master’s degree in Nanoscience from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Associate Director, Research Content

Lonnie S. Jacobs joined WisdomTree in August 2006 as Senior Index Analyst overseeing creation, maintenance and reconstitution of the firm’s passive indexes and actively managed ETFs. In her current role as Associate Director, Research Content, she is focused on supporting the research pipeline and analyzing the impact of global markets on WisdomTree strategies. Lonnie has B.A. in Economics and M.S. in Information Systems.

Samuel Rines is a Macro Strategist at WisdomTree, where he extends the firm's custom model portfolio management capabilities. Before joining WisdomTree in 2024, he was the Managing Director at CORBU, LLC, leading the PolyMacro advisory product. With over a decade of experience in economics and finance, Samuel has held significant roles such as Chief Economist at Avalon Investment & Advisory and Economist and Portfolio Manager at Chilton Capital Management LLC. He is also the author of "After Normal: Making Sense of the Global Economy," and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, as well as having studied Economics at the University of Oxford.

Maredith Hannon

Director of Business Development, Digital Assets

Maredith Hannon joined WisdomTree in May 2022 as Director of Business Development for Digital Assets. In this role, she is responsible for leading business development and partnerships for WisdomTree’s digital assets division, including WisdomTree Prime.

Prior to joining WisdomTree, Maredith was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, Head of Business Development and Strategy for the Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO). In this role, she was responsible for sales and operations across business development, marketing, strategic initiatives, and business management. OCIO’s client base included institutional clients, including family offices, ultra-high net worth clients, defined contribution and defined benefit plans, nonprofits, and corporations, both domestic and international. Maredith began her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she worked across product, sales, and strategy roles before becoming Director, Head of Sales Performance and Strategy for their Workplace Financial Solutions business, which focused on delivering wealth management solutions to institutional clients and their employees.

Maredith graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University.
