Capital Efficiency Is in Our Futures

Warren Buffett is fond of saying, “Price is what you pay, value is what you get.” In our view, WisdomTree’s efficient core family delivers much more than just a low-cost building block for asset allocation. By combining exposure to equities with an overlay of futures contracts, investors can seek to magnify returns or increase diversification for the same $1 invested.

We started building the Efficient Core ETF family with a focus on improving the capital efficiency of traditional equity and bond portfolios. Most recently, we added a tactical strategy that stacks exposure to gold miners and gold futures. To us, the idea is simple: the additional diversification received from futures overlays can make portfolios more efficient; by controlling the same assets with less capital, investors have the potential to allocate to other assets or hold more of their portfolio in cash.

Our Efficient Core ETFs

The WisdomTree Efficient Core suite seeks to leverage the benefits of fixed income overlays to boost the risk efficiency of U.S., international and EM equity markets.

Our Gold and Commodities ETFs

This suite is designed to provide investors with diversified access to risk-aware strategies, including gold futures and broad commodities such as energy, metals, grains and more.

A Modern Core-Plus Equity Solution

This strategy is designed as a core-plus allocation, a replacement or enhancement for existing large-cap U.S. equity exposures, offering the possibility of incremental, compounding alpha through time.

Gold’s Violent Reset: A Correction, Not a Collapse

Gold’s sharp January 30 selloff looked dramatic, but history shows these moves often reflect positioning resets, not broken theses. Christopher Gannatti analyzes why this correction fits a familiar pattern of liquidity, leverage and regime repricing rather than a collapse in gold’s long-term role.
