WisdomTree recognizes that the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and Switzerland have established strict protections regarding the handling of EEA/Swiss Personal Data, including requirements to provide adequate protection for EEA/Swiss Personal Data transferred outside of the EEA or Switzerland. To provide adequate protection for certain EEA/Swiss Personal Data received in the United States, WisdomTree has certified that it adheres to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework (collectively, “Privacy Shield”). Additionally, WisdomTree has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability and the Supplemental Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this Privacy Shield Policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. EEA/SWISS PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION AND USE
ONWARD TRANSFERS TO THIRD PARTIES
WisdomTree maintains reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect EEA/Swiss Personal Data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, taking into account the nature of the EEA/Swiss Personal Data and the risks involved in processing that information, in accordance with the Privacy Shield.
You may have the right to access the EEA/Swiss Personal Data that we hold about you and to request that we correct, amend, or delete it if it is inaccurate or processed in violation of the Privacy Shield. These access rights may not apply in some cases, including where providing access is unreasonably burdensome or expensive under the circumstances or where it would violate the rights of someone other than the individual requesting access. If you would like to request access to, correction, amendment, or deletion of your EEA/Swiss Personal Data, you can submit a written request to the contact information provided below. We may request specific information from you to confirm your identity. In some circumstances we may charge a reasonable fee for access to your information.
For purposes of enforcing compliance with the Privacy Shield, WisdomTree is subject to the investigatory and enforcement authority of the United States Federal Trade Commission. Any questions or complaints regarding the use or disclosure of your EEA/Swiss Personal Data should be directed to WisdomTree at the address provided below. We will investigate and attempt to resolve any complaints or disputes regarding the use or disclosure of your EEA/Swiss Personal Data by reference to Privacy Shield Principles. In addition, WisdomTree has agreed to participate in the following independent dispute resolution procedure in the investigation and resolution of complaints to resolve disputes pursuant to the Privacy Shield Principles:
