WisdomTree periodically reviews the naming classifications of our ETFs to ensure greater clarity of the stated investment strategies and alignment with industry naming conventions. Effective 8/31/2015 we are changing the names of the following WisdomTree ETF families:

*The WisdomTree DEFA Equity Income Fund would change both its regional naming convention (DEFA to International) as well as its strategic convention (Equity Income to High Dividend).

  • No, there will be no changes to the investment objectives, policies or strategies of any of the Funds.
  • Will there be any changes to the Funds’ tickers?
  • No, the Funds’ tickers will remain the same.
  • Will there be any changes to the Funds’ expense ratios?
  • No, the expense ratios of the Funds will not change.
  • Do investors in these Funds need to take action as a result of the change?
  • No, investors do not have to take any action.
  • Will these changes generate any tax consequences for Fund investors?
  • No, these changes are not expected to generate any tax consequences for investors.
  • Will the underlying Index names also change?
  • Yes, the underlying Indexes these Funds are designed to track will reflect the same name changes as the Funds.
