Compliance Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is currently seeking a Compliance Associate to join the Compliance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the CCO by reviewing, updating, testing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures consistent with Rules 206(4)-7 and Rule 38a-1.
  • Assist with the oversight of sub-advisers by reviewing quarterly reporting materials, testing reports, and other information utilized in order to confirm each sub-adviser’s and service provider’s compliance with applicable securities laws.
  • Conduct and/or participate in periodic on-site due diligence visits with sub-advisers and service providers.
  • Assist with developing, distributing, and overseeing compliance materials and certifications and other materials to employees via the firm’s automated compliance platform.
  • Participate in various ongoing ad hoc projects.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience specifically with testing in a mutual fund and/or asset management compliance with experience relating to sub-adviser oversight & the implementation & testing of compliance programs pursuant to Rule 38a-1under the Investment Company Act of 1940 & Rule 206(4)-7 under the Investment Advisors Act of 1940.
  • Must be self-directed, motivated, and able to interact effectively with diverse business groups.

Index Analyst

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Index Analyst is on the Research team and reports to the Associate Director of Research. WisdomTree is looking for an analyst that will help the team in its daily functions, particularly those relating to its equity indexes. The primary responsibility will be helping with the development and maintenance of WisdomTree indexes, including the regular rebalancing and reconstitution process around each of the indexes and the ongoing reporting on those indexes. This role will also have opportunities to contribute to the research and market insights gained from the performance and characteristics of the WisdomTree index family. This position represents an opportunity to gain experience working within the growing ETF industry in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Learning all aspects of equity Index management to assist in the creation of new indexes and maintenance of existing indexes
  • Updating and enhancing current Index reporting
  • Helping Research team with other types of reports and market intelligence on an as-needed basis

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in financial industry
  • Prior Index related experience highly desirable
  • Programming skills and experience with automation are required

Index Database Engineer

Job Description

WisdomTree is looking for a highly competent and motivated individual to design and develop data solutions for the Research team. The primary responsibilities include developing software and database solutions for managing and analyzing our equity indexes.

The database engineer role requires very capable technical skills (especially in MS SQL Server), experience architecting and developing operational databases and their usage for business analytics, a service-oriented mentality, ability to communicate with team members to keep them updated on project and issue status, and comfort initiating and performing changes on production systems.

To thrive in this position: you must have a solid technical background and knowledge of finance/investing. You must be self-starting and highly motivated. You must be able to define the problem, as well as create the solution.

During your interview you will be asked to discuss a project that excites you. We will ask you questions on that project in order to get a better understanding of the depth of your knowledge.

Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

WisdomTree Investments is seeking a marketing coordinator with at least 1 year agency or client-side experience in an administrative capacity. In this role, you will support the marketing team with day-to-day tactical projects.

The ideal Marketing Coordinator will be an individual who has great project management skills, is very organized, flexible and adaptable to change as our business grows and develops. Capable of running and managing a number of projects, you must enjoy variety and demonstrate high levels of organization whilst at all times prioritizing your workload in order to meet deadlines and key objectives. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy are a must as is the ability to communicate effectively with all teams and departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with collateral support across the global network
  • Supporting direct marketing efforts such as, development of newsletters and email campaigns

Regional Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking Internal Regional Sales Associates across our sales team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. In this role, you will work closely with an established Regional Sales Director to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”). We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a winning attitude.

  • Partner with Regional Directors to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of Prospects via proprietary databases, mass media and referrals
  • Proactively contact key individuals via phone calls and targeted emails
  • Deliver value added commentary, research, data, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
  • Promote sharing and exchange of industry knowledge and trends across the sales team and greater organization
  • Travel within the territory quarterly and attend industry conferences when appropriate

Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BA required, business related degree preferred. Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus
  • Current Series 7 and 63 preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience with a financial services company specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts
  • Proven understanding of the asset management industry and ability to develop relationships with sophisticated Plan Sponsors, Portfolio Managers and Research Teams

RIA Regional Director, West

Job Description

The candidate will reside in the Western territory of the US and is responsible for the following states: AK, WA, OR, CA, HI, NV, AZ, UT, NM, WY, ID and MT. WisdomTree’s RIA, Regional Director is on the Sales team and will report to the Head of RIA and PWM Distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Distribution of WisdomTree’s exchange-traded funds within the RIA channels
  • Develop new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach within a defined geographic territory
  • Deliver regional presentations to current and prospective clients through office visits, conference calls, seminars and conferences
  • Manage day-to-day operational duties of the territory to include managing and tracking sales, lead flow, manage and maintain CRM database, report weekly activities and annual regional marketing budget
  • Ability to explain the ETF structure and benefits versus traditional mutual funds and SMA strategies.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of the ETF and mutual fund industry as well as competitor products and sales strategies to better deliver WisdomTree’s value proposition
  • Ability to adhere to a demanding travel schedule

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the ETF market place preferred.
  • Experience building and cultivating relationships with RIAs; established relationships preferred

Systems Network Analyst

Job Description

  • WisdomTree is looking for a System/Network Analyst to maintain the stability and configuration of the server and network environments. Systems / Network Analyst is expected to be aware of industry developments in their domain; will engage regularly with Business Analyst / Developers to understand technologies needed to support solutions.
  • Manage and track incidents; ensure resolution in accordance with SLAs; install and configure new hardware, software, and networking configuration.
  • Create a release plan/documentation for all system changes.
  • Maintain and draw on external network of resources (e.g., vendor development contacts, industry experts) to propose new solutions.

Skills & Experience:

Experience

  • 5+ years of server/systems administration (including Novell eDirectory/OES, SUSE Linux, Windows Server)
  • 5+ years in network administration (Cisco certified)
  • 2+ years experience as Sys admin with MS SQL Server
  • Experience in Financial Services not required

Skills

  • Very good knowledge of and experience in server, client and network operating systems
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, protocol analyzers and remote monitoring tools
  • Good knowledge of Wireless networking (familiarity with Aruba hardware a plus)
  • Good understanding of security policy, technical and physical information security safeguards and system administration
  • Ability to diagnose network and systems problems
  • Ability to design and evaluate solutions within technical domain
  • Ability to quickly prioritize tasks and communicate decisions
