Index Database Engineer

Job Description

WisdomTree is looking for a highly competent and motivated individual to design and develop data solutions for the Research team. The primary responsibilities include developing software and database solutions for managing and analyzing our equity indexes.

The database engineer role requires very capable technical skills (especially in MS SQL Server), experience architecting and developing operational databases and their usage for business analytics, a service-oriented mentality, ability to communicate with team members to keep them updated on project and issue status, and comfort initiating and performing changes on production systems.

To thrive in this position: you must have a solid technical background and knowledge of finance/investing. You must be self-starting and highly motivated. You must be able to define the problem, as well as create the solution.

During your interview you will be asked to discuss a project that excites you. We will ask you questions on that project in order to get a better understanding of the depth of your knowledge.


  • Learning all aspects of equity Index management to assist in the maintenance of existing indexes

Institutional Regional Director

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking an experienced Institutional Regional Director that will be based in and cover the Western United States. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for acquiring new institutional clients as well as additional revenues from an existing client base. This candidate must have a proven track record of developing business and maintaining relationships with an institutional client base. Strong knowledge of the institutional marketplace, particularly in Defined Contribution, Pensions and working with consultants is required.

  • 5 years external sales experience focused on the institutional market
  • Exceptional communication skills and market knowledge
  • Experience building and cultivating relationships with Endowments, Foundations, Defined Benefit Pension Plans and DC plans; established relationships preferred

Public Relations Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Investments (NASDAQ: WETF) has a Public Relations Associate position available in New York, NY. This person will be responsible for developing and executing the communications objectives for WisdomTree’s products and business entities. Our goal is to maintain and enhance WisdomTree’s profile and help raise awareness and demand for the Company’s investment solutions and industry expertise. Reports to the Associate Director of Public Relations, with a specific focus on media relations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring editorial calendars and proactively pitching story ideas, Company news developments, and expert sources to reporters and industry influencers across all media channels including print, online, broadcast and social media
  • Prepare press releases, media briefings, messaging documents, and reports on industry/market developments and competitor communications practices
  • Provide timely counsel and information to senior management regarding media perceptions and industry trends; serve as a visible and valued resource for all WisdomTree departments
  • Speak on behalf of the Company; attend industry conferences, evaluate and manage inbound media inquiries, inform and educate market observers on issues relating to WisdomTree and its ETFs in an engaging, compliant and accurate manner
  • Secure interviews, prepare WisdomTree subject matter experts and manage interview process
  • Become a WisdomTree product expert and primary contact for reporters covering WisdomTree
  • Provide thought leadership on ETF Industry. Collaborate with colleagues in Marketing and Research to understand changing trends in the financial markets, the impact on the ETF products and devise communications strategies accordingly
  • Coordinate a wide variety of administrative tasks, including tracking press coverage, managing activity reports and coordinating compliance process
  • Support company’s corporate investor relations program, including: preparing corporate materials and tracking investor activity


  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in financial public relations agency or corporate roles
  • Experience with financial products and financial press preferred
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and excellent attention to detail; knowledge of AP style
  • Must excel at time management; energetic self-starter with ability to work with various levels of management as well as independently within the firm’s demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related PR software


Regional Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking Internal Regional Sales Associates across our sales team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. In this role, you will work closely with an established Regional Sales Director to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”). We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a winning attitude.

  • Partner with Regional Directors to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of Prospects via proprietary databases, mass media and referrals
  • Proactively contact key individuals via phone calls and targeted emails
  • Deliver value added commentary, research, data, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
  • Promote sharing and exchange of industry knowledge and trends across the sales team and greater organization
  • Travel within the territory quarterly and attend industry conferences when appropriate

Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BA required, business related degree preferred. Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus
  • Current Series 7 and 63 preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience with a financial services company specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts
  • Proven understanding of the asset management industry and ability to develop relationships with sophisticated Plan Sponsors, Portfolio Managers and Research Teams
  • Ability to succeed in a challenging and fast paced team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with web-based CRM, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
  • Strong character references and a clean compliance record
