Job Description

WisdomTree is seeking a Fund Manager to assist in review and preparation of regulatory reports and oversight of all accounting functions related to the WisdomTree family of Exchange Traded Funds. This position will report to the Assistant Treasurer within the Fund Accounting & Administration department. The ideal candidate will have at least five to seven years of experience in fund accounting and administration. He or she must be a reliable self-starter, possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable dealing with various internal and external service providers. This position also requires an organized, efficient, results-oriented individual with strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Daily oversight of NAV calculation and fund accounting activities
  • Reviewing of financial statements
  • Coordinating financial statement process and interfacing with legal and fund auditors to answer questions and resolve issues
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of regulatory filings such as SEC Forms N-SAR, N-CSR, N-Q, N-PX, 24F-2, and IRS Form FBAR
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of fund prospectuses and SAIs
  • Reviewing daily, monthly and ad hoc requests for fund information (i.e. expense ratios, fund fact sheets, fund performance, fund surveys, and other statistical data)
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly board report materials
  • Calculating and facilitating payment of management and sub-advisory fees
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of income and capital gain distributions
  • Reviewing IRS quarterly diversification tests
  • Reviewing monthly proxy voting reports
  • Special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of fund accounting and administration experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficient with Bloomberg and Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated to succeed
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of ETF back-office operations
  • Knowledge and understanding of derivatives a plus but not required

 

Job Description

We are looking for a Quantitative Strategist within our Fixed Income and Currency Group. This candidate will focus on developing quantitative based strategies that can be incorporated into both passively managed indices and rules-based investment processes for active funds. This role will report to the Head of Fixed Income and Currency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary developer of quantitative based fixed income and multi-asset strategies for creating future products and enhancing existing products
  • Assist Head of Fixed Income in positioning quantitative based products to the sales force and larger external clients
  • Work to develop internal models to enhance investment decision making and risk management
  • Develop written content on fixed income index construction, risk management, and quantitative solutions
  • Work with external clients in developing quantitative solutions to their fixed income challenges


Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience, 3+ years focused on fixed income markets
  • Exceptional quantitative and problem solving skills, capable of communicating complicated ideas
  • Broad based knowledge of empirical methods for fixed income markets
  • Strong writing skills and presentation skills, specifically to sophisticated clients
  • Proficiency in MATLAB a must; familiarity with SQL a plus
  • Experienced in Bloomberg and familiar with portfolio analytical systems such as Factset and Barclays POINT
  • Previous ETF industry experience a plus
  • Series 7 License preferred

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking Internal Regional Sales Associates across our sales team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. In this role, you will work closely with an established Regional Sales Director to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”). We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a winning attitude.

  • Partner with Regional Directors to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of Prospects via proprietary databases, mass media and referrals
  • Proactively contact key individuals via phone calls and targeted emails
  • Deliver value added commentary, research, data, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
  • Promote sharing and exchange of industry knowledge and trends across the sales team and greater organization
  • Travel within the territory quarterly and attend industry conferences when appropriate

Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BA required, business related degree preferred.
  • Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus
  • Current Series 7 and 63 preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience with a financial services company specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts
  • Proven understanding of the asset management industry
  • Ability to develop relationships with sophisticated Plan Sponsors, Portfolio Managers and Research Teams
  • Ability to succeed in a challenging and fast paced team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with web-based CRM, Microsoft Office, and Outlook

Job Description
WisdomTree is looking for a highly competent and motivated individual to lead Technology Operations, reporting to the CIO. This role is responsible for ensuring that production systems and end user services continually meet business needs in a reliable and efficient manner.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ management experience in a production, mission-critical, 24x7x365 IT operations environment, including end user, server, storage, and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience supervising and managing Technology Infrastructure and Support teams
  • Strong management skills to handle staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated focus on customer service excellence; ensuring client requests are serviced promptly and courteously
  • Proven leadership of projects to install & support state-of-the-art hardware platforms supporting deployments of VMWare and Microsoft Azure infrastructure
  • Experience benchmarking, analyzing, and making recommendations for the improvement and growth of technology infrastructure and systems
  • Experience implementing cyber security strategy and necessary technology controls to meet industry standards (e.g., NIST Cyber Framework, ISO 27001)


Preferred Qualifications

  • DevOps experience, building and managing a robust cloud-based infrastructure, while interfacing with development teams to automate change management and deployment
  • Ownership of cloud web application infrastructure (Microsoft Azure preferred), including VM, PaaS, and server-less deployment models
  • Deep Microsoft Office 365 administration experience (Exchange Online, Office, security products) 
  • Strong business analysis skills with prior experience of analyzing and documenting business needs, identifying potential solutions, and developing an argument for one solution over all others
