Asset Allocation Strategist

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is an exciting and growing leader in the ETF industry. We are hiring an Asset Allocation Strategist for our Research Team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. This candidate will play a key role in helping WisdomTree continue to expand an internal asset allocation strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customized consultations with WisdomTree clients on their asset allocation models
  • Help determine asset allocation suggestions and customization for each client using informed views of the most attractive segments of the various markets
  • Use a decision-making process that includes a combination of fundamental and technical analytical techniques
  • Potentially Deliver client-facing communication and presentations
  • Analytical assessments of different portfolios and how those may translate to the realization of different types of investment goals
  • Utilize ETF’s and/or mutual funds to express investment views

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and writing skills would be a plus
  • 4+ years of ETF/mutual fund industry experience and/or experience analyzing macro-economic factors preferred
  • Familiarity of various industry tools (i.e. Bloomberg, Morningstar, Zephyr) and how these strategies might compare mutual funds, ETF’s or other investment vehicles
  • Experience making decisions that involve choosing between different asset classes or investments
  • Familiarity with domestic, developed international and emerging market equities, fixed income and currencies
  • History of running tactical or strategic asset allocation models
  • Having experience using Matlab with true project-based experience strongly preferred

Certifications:

  • Series 7 License required

Fixed Income Analyst

Job Description

We are hiring an Analyst for our Fixed Income and Currency Group based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. This candidate will play a key role in the group and have plenty of room to grow within the team and organization. This role reports to the Head of Fixed Income and Currency.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce marketing and presentation content
  • Heavy focus on constructing quantitative models for fixed income currency evaluation and analysis
  • Responsible for the execution of daily reporting requirements and quarterly updates for fixed income and currency funds
  • Analytical model development, produce competitive analysis for sales, product development and management, and production of market related material

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience, preferably in the investment management industry

Index Analyst

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Index Analyst is on the Research team and reports to the Associate Director of Research. WisdomTree is looking for an analyst that will help the team in its daily functions, particularly those relating to its equity indexes. The primary responsibility will be helping with the development and maintenance of WisdomTree indexes, including the regular rebalancing and reconstitution process around each of the indexes and the ongoing reporting on those indexes. This role will also have opportunities to contribute to the research and market insights gained from the performance and characteristics of the WisdomTree index family. This position represents an opportunity to gain experience working within the growing ETF industry in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Learning all aspects of equity Index management to assist in the creation of new indexes and maintenance of existing indexes
  • Updating and enhancing current Index reporting
  • Helping Research team with other types of reports and market intelligence on an as-needed basis

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in financial industry
  • Prior Index related experience highly desirable

Private Wealth Management, Regional Director

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Private Wealth Management (PWM), Regional Director is on the Sales team and reports to the RIA National Sales Manager. The PWM, Regional Director will serve as the regional relationship manager for private banks in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Distribution of WisdomTree’s exchange-traded funds within the largest U.S. private banks
  • Develop new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach within a defined geographic territory
  • Work closely with the PWM, National Accounts Manager to identify new opportunities and establish a regional presence within the PWM regional offices
  • Deliver regional presentations to current and prospective clients through office visits, conference calls, seminars and conferences
  • Manage day-to-day operational duties of your territory to include: managing and tracking sales, lead flow, manage and maintain CRM database, report weekly activities and annual regional marketing budget
  • Ability to explain the ETF structure and benefits versus traditional mutual funds and SMA strategies
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of the ETF and mutual fund industry as well as competitor products and sales strategies to better deliver WisdomTree’s value proposition
  • Ability to adhere to a demanding travel schedule; 75% of travel is required

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the ETP market place preferred
  • Experience building and cultivating relationships within the largest US Private Banks; established relationships preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Success managing Internal Sales partner to gain maximum sales coverage, uncover new sales opportunities and cross sell existing relationships

  • Prior experience working within the Private Bank channel and knowledge of bank trust custodial platforms is preferred
  • Analytical skills necessary to analyze and interpret complex investment strategies to influence the sales of WisdomTree’s ETFs

  • Clean U-4 and no prior-firm contractual restrictions regarding distribution of investment products

 

Regional Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking Internal Regional Sales Associates across our sales team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. In this role, you will work closely with an established Regional Sales Director to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”). We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a winning attitude.

  • Partner with Regional Directors to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of Prospects via proprietary databases, mass media and referrals
  • Proactively contact key individuals via phone calls and targeted emails
  • Deliver value added commentary, research, data, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
  • Promote sharing and exchange of industry knowledge and trends across the sales team and greater organization
  • Travel within the territory quarterly and attend industry conferences when appropriate

Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BA required, business related degree preferred. Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus
  • Current Series 7 and 63 preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience with a financial services company specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts

Research Analyst

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Research Analyst is on the Research team and reports to the Associate Director of Research. WisdomTree is looking for an analyst that will help the team in all aspects of its daily functions. The primary responsibility will be helping process and update written research commentary, quarterly marketing collateral and presentations. This position represents an opportunity to gain experience working within a growing industry in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching market and economic trends, highlighting WisdomTree investment options to express these themes
  • Analysis of performance and fundamentals of WisdomTree Funds and Indexes
  • Responsible for editing and assisting the publication of research commentaries and papers
  • Production and formatting of research and sales presentations
  • Ability to analyze and automate large datasets within excel
  • Complete ad hoc data requests from sales and research teams
  • Participate in weekly asset allocation meeting

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in financial industry, with experience in analysis or asset allocation utilizing mutual funds, exchange traded funds or other similar investment vehicles a strong plus
  • Passion for the financial markets and exchange traded fund industry
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional work ethic as well as time and process management skills

RFP Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking an experienced RFP Associate. Responsibilities include serving as lead on assigned projects, writing, proofing and maintaining investment language used within client proposals, and collaborating with sales team and various stakeholders to manage the production and execution of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and custom requests . This individual will also have responsibility for completing due diligence, client and consultant questionnaires and updating existing data. The successful candidate will have experience or in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry. Relevant experience with institutional investors, as well as product knowledge relating to ETPs and ETFs, fixed income, equity and alternative asset classes would be distinct advantages.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and coordinate high quality and accurate RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and consultant questionnaires
  • Proof, format and assign appropriate disclosure language to custom research requests
  • Assist with the development of processes/guidelines and effectively manage timelines while meeting internal and external deadlines
  • Craft new and more complex RFP responses, as well as enhancing existing language
  • Ensure that the Qvidian database is up-to-date with the most recent RFP responses and data
  • Work effectively with various internal groups to process and obtain relevant information for questions
  • Assist RFP Specialists with process of RFP production and assembly including ongoing communication, relationship development and teamwork with Sales team members and subject matter experts throughout the firm; focus on collaboration and drive toward strategic priorities
  • Manage content management database, processes, policies, and procedures
  • Focus on continuous improvement and streamlining related to RFP language, process, consultant database content, AUM and personnel reporting, etc.
  • Assist on other projects as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the investment management industry, with a minimum 2 years of RFP or business writing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Superior writing and editorial abilities
  • Understanding of investment products (Knowledge of ETF structure is highly desired)
  • Knowledge of consultant database reporting, specifically Qvidian
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

Systems Network Analyst

Job Description

  • WisdomTree is looking for a System/Network Analyst to maintain the stability and configuration of the server and network environments. Systems / Network Analyst is expected to be aware of industry developments in their domain; will engage regularly with Business Analyst / Developers to understand technologies needed to support solutions.
  • Manage and track incidents; ensure resolution in accordance with SLAs; install and configure new hardware, software, and networking configuration.
  • Create a release plan/documentation for all system changes.
  • Maintain and draw on external network of resources (e.g., vendor development contacts, industry experts) to propose new solutions.

Skills & Experience:

Experience

  • 5+ years of server/systems administration (including Novell eDirectory/OES, SUSE Linux, Windows Server)
  • 5+ years in network administration (Cisco certified)
  • 2+ years experience as Sys admin with MS SQL Server
  • Experience in Financial Services not required

Skills

  • Very good knowledge of and experience in server, client and network operating systems
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, protocol analyzers and remote monitoring tools
  • Good knowledge of Wireless networking (familiarity with Aruba hardware a plus)
  • Good understanding of security policy, technical and physical information security safeguards and system administration
  • Ability to diagnose network and systems problems
  • Ability to design and evaluate solutions within technical domain
  • Ability to quickly prioritize tasks and communicate decisions
  • Information reporting tool experience (e.g., IBM Cognos) is a plus
