Database Engineer

Job Description

WisdomTree is looking for a highly competent and motivated individual to lead the design and development of our data platforms. The primary responsibilities include developing database solutions for managing and analyzing our operational and customer data, and owning, tracking and resolving database-related incidents and requests.

The Database Engineer role requires very capable technical skills (especially in MS SQL Server), significant experience of architecting and developing operational databases and their usage for business analytics, a service-oriented mentality, ability to communicate with technology customers to keep them updated on project and issue status, and comfort initiating and performing changes on production systems.

During your interview you will be asked to discuss a project or particular piece of technology that excites you. We will ask you questions on that project or piece of technology in order to get a better understanding of the depth of your knowledge.

Fixed Income Credit Strategist

Job Description

Fund Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Daily oversight of NAV calculation and fund accounting activities
  • Reviewing of financial statements 
  • Coordinating financial statement process and interfacing with legal and fund auditors to answer questions and resolve issues

Private Wealth Management National Accounts Manager

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) National Accounts Manager is on the Sales team and reports to the Director of National Accounts. The PWM National Accounts Manager serves as a primary relationship manager for private banks in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead WisdomTree’s strategic relationships with the largest U.S. private banks.
  • Develop productive relationships with centers of influence across private banks that result in an understanding of WisdomTree at the organizational level as well as at the product level.
  • Diligently pursue critical mass of WisdomTree product placement across private bank platforms by building relationships with manager research teams and developing a keen understanding of the product evaluation processes.
  • Directly raise assets through the sale of WisdomTree products to private bank firm-driven model portfolio managers where applicable.
  • Seek high-visibility opportunities for the organization, products and thought leadership through centers of influence, such as strategists, product managers, relationship managers and partner portals.

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Private Wealth Management (PWM), Regional Director is on the Sales team and reports to the RIA National Sales Manager. The PWM, Regional Director will serve as the regional relationship manager for private banks in the U.S.

  • Distribution of WisdomTree’s exchange-traded funds within the largest U.S. private banks
  • Develop new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach within a defined geographic territory

Systems Network Analyst

Job Description

  • WisdomTree is looking for a System/Network Analyst to maintain the stability and configuration of the server and network environments. Systems / Network Analyst is expected to be aware of industry developments in their domain; will engage regularly with Business Analyst / Developers to understand technologies needed to support solutions.
  • Manage and track incidents; ensure resolution in accordance with SLAs; install and configure new hardware, software, and networking configuration.

Job Description

WisdomTree is seeking an exceptional individual to join its Product Development team. Reporting to the Head of Product Development & Business Development, this person will join a highly collaborative team responsible for developing new exchange traded products to grow the existing business and manage an existing lineup of products. In addition to acute detail orientation skills, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to multitask across numerous disciplines to drive developmental and operational initiatives simultaneously, and the ability to present material to a multitude of constituents. The successful candidate will have experience working with ETFs, with specific experience around strategy evaluation and legal review and be comfortable interacting with internal and external customers. The position is located in the New York City office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data and prepare presentations for product development and other product-related meetings for senior management group
  • Monitor competitive landscape and prepare intelligence regarding how key industry competitors are positioned from product, performance and marketing perspective (e.g. direct performance comparisons, marketing activities, market share movements, new products)
  • Prepare information for the funds’ Board of Trustees, including new product memos and proposed fund actions
  • Work with internal and external counsel to prepare, review fund related documentation, including prospectuses, ISDA and related derivative documentation, exemptive relief filings, 19b-4 rule filings and other documents, to support and expand the business

  • Industry Certification: NASD Series 7 Or 63 License, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation is a plus, as is pursuit of any of those certifications
  • Experience with Bloomberg is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as working under deadline pressure
  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and meet established deadlines
  • Proven experience in a product development and/or product management role
  • Experience working within an organization distributed across geographic locations
  • Experience with fund analytical databases, such as Zephyr, Morningstar Direct
  • Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis
