Database Engineer

Job Description

WisdomTree is looking for a highly competent and motivated individual to lead the design and development of our data platforms. The primary responsibilities include developing database solutions for managing and analyzing our operational and customer data, and owning, tracking and resolving database-related incidents and requests.

The Database Engineer role requires very capable technical skills (especially in MS SQL Server), significant experience of architecting and developing operational databases and their usage for business analytics, a service-oriented mentality, ability to communicate with technology customers to keep them updated on project and issue status, and comfort initiating and performing changes on production systems.

During your interview you will be asked to discuss a project or particular piece of technology that excites you. We will ask you questions on that project or piece of technology in order to get a better understanding of the depth of your knowledge.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with architecture, design, and development of MS SQL Server databases (SQL Server 2005/14)
  • Experience implementing physical database objects, managing data, building/extending toolsets, development using TSQL, transactions, error handling and detecting and correcting bugs and inefficient code within SQL scripts
  • Strong proficiency and working experience building applications in the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics
  • Great communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong business analysis skills with prior experience of analyzing and documenting business needs, identifying potential solutions, and developing an argument for one solution over all others

Fixed Income Quantitative Strategist

Job Description

We are looking for a Quantitative Strategist within our Fixed Income and Currency Group. This candidate will focus on developing quantitative based strategies that can be incorporated into both passively managed indices and rules-based investment processes for active funds. This role will report to the Head of Fixed Income and Currency.


  • Serve as a primary developer of quantitative based fixed income and multi-asset strategies for creating future products and enhancing existing products
  • Assist Head of Fixed Income in positioning quantitative based products to the sales force and larger external clients
  • Work to develop internal models to enhance investment decision making and risk management
  • Develop written content on fixed income index construction, risk management, and quantitative solutions

Full-time Marketing Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Investments is seeking a marketing associate with 3-4 years agency or client-side experience in financial services marketing. Must have understanding of web technologies, disciplines required to drive traffic to websites and Google Webmaster Tools & Analytics products. In this role, you will support the marketing team in planning, defining and managing implementation of website changes and functional improvements. The ideal Marketing Associate will be an individual who is flexible and adaptable to change as our business grows and develops. Capable of running and managing a number of projects, you must enjoy variety and demonstrate high levels of organization and creative flair whilst at all times prioritizing your workload in order to meet deadlines and key objectives. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy are a must as is the ability to communicate effectively with all teams and departments


The successful candidate will function as the Webmaster while reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment. The candidate will be responsible for technical design and implementation of the site. Specific Duties Include:

  • Planning, directing, and executing measurable and continuous improvements to the site
  • Analyzing organizational needs and consulting with stakeholders in design and implementation

Fund Manager

WisdomTree is seeking a Fund Manager to assist in review and preparation of regulatory reports and oversight of all accounting functions related to the WisdomTree family of Exchange Traded Funds. This position will report to the Assistant Treasurer within the Fund Accounting & Administration department.  The ideal candidate will have at least five to seven years of experience in fund accounting and administration.  He or she must be a reliable self-starter, possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable dealing with various internal and external service providers. This position also requires an organized, efficient, results-oriented individual with strong critical thinking skills.

Job Description

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Daily oversight of NAV calculation and fund accounting activities
  • Reviewing of financial statements 
  • Coordinating financial statement process and interfacing with legal and fund auditors to answer questions and resolve issues
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of regulatory filings such as SEC Forms N-SAR, N-CSR, N-Q, N-PX, 24F-2, and IRS Form FBAR
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of fund prospectuses and SAIs 
  • Reviewing daily, monthly and ad hoc requests for fund information (i.e. expense ratios, fund fact sheets, fund performance, fund surveys, and other statistical data) 
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly board report materials  
  • Calculating and facilitating payment of management and sub-advisory fees 
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of income and capital gain distributions 
  • Reviewing IRS quarterly diversification tests 
  • Reviewing monthly proxy voting reports  
  • Special projects as needed 

Basic Qualifications 

  • 5-7 years of fund accounting and administration experience  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Proficient with Bloomberg and Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)

Private Wealth Management, Regional Director

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Private Wealth Management (PWM), Regional Director is on the Sales team and reports to the RIA National Sales Manager. The PWM, Regional Director will serve as the regional relationship manager for private banks in the U.S.


  • Distribution of WisdomTree’s exchange-traded funds within the largest U.S. private banks
  • Develop new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach within a defined geographic territory
  • Work closely with the PWM, National Accounts Manager to identify new opportunities and establish a regional presence within the PWM regional offices
  • Deliver regional presentations to current and prospective clients through office visits, conference calls, seminars and conferences
  • Manage day-to-day operational duties of your territory to include: managing and tracking sales, lead flow, manage and maintain CRM database, report weekly activities and annual regional marketing budget
  • Ability to explain the ETF structure and benefits versus traditional mutual funds and SMA strategies
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of the ETF and mutual fund industry as well as competitor products and sales strategies to better deliver WisdomTree’s value proposition

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking Internal Regional Sales Associates across our sales team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. In this role, you will work closely with an established Regional Sales Director to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”). We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a winning attitude.

  • Partner with Regional Directors to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of Prospects via proprietary databases, mass media and referrals
  • Proactively contact key individuals via phone calls and targeted emails
  • Deliver value added commentary, research, data, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
  • Promote sharing and exchange of industry knowledge and trends across the sales team and greater organization
  • Travel within the territory quarterly and attend industry conferences when appropriate

Regional Director

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking an experienced Wholesaler for its Broker/Dealer Channel in the Central East region (IN, MI, OH, PA). The selected candidate will be responsible for sales of our exchange-traded funds with financial professionals in the Central East states. We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and experience selling into the major wire houses. Experience in the ETP marketplace preferred.

Systems Network Analyst

Job Description

  • WisdomTree is looking for a System/Network Analyst to maintain the stability and configuration of the server and network environments. Systems / Network Analyst is expected to be aware of industry developments in their domain; will engage regularly with Business Analyst / Developers to understand technologies needed to support solutions.
  • Manage and track incidents; ensure resolution in accordance with SLAs; install and configure new hardware, software, and networking configuration.
  • Create a release plan/documentation for all system changes.
  • Maintain and draw on external network of resources (e.g., vendor development contacts, industry experts) to propose new solutions.

Skills & Experience:


  • 5+ years of server/systems administration (including Novell eDirectory/OES, SUSE Linux, Windows Server)
  • 5+ years in network administration (Cisco certified)
  • 2+ years experience as Sys admin with MS SQL Server
  • Experience in Financial Services not required


  • Very good knowledge of and experience in server, client and network operating systems
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, protocol analyzers and remote monitoring tools
