Institutional Regional Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking an Internal Regional Sales Associate for the Institutional sales team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. In this role, you will work closely with an established Regional Sales Director to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”) to the Institutional investing community. We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a strong work ethic.  

 

  • Partner with Regional Directors to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of Prospects via proprietary databases, mass media and referrals
  • Proactively contact key individuals via phone calls and targeted emails 
  • Deliver value added commentary, research, data, and due diligence material to Investors at Endowments, Foundations, Pensions, Consultants and Asset Managers throughout the sales cycle
  • Promote sharing and exchange of industry knowledge and trends across the sales team and greater organization 
  • Travel within the territory quarterly and attend industry conferences when appropriate  

Skills & Experience: 

 

  • BS/BA required, business related degree preferred. Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus 
  • Current Series 7 and 63 preferred 
  • 1-2 years’ experience with a financial services company specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts
  • Proven understanding of the asset management industry and ability to develop relationships with sophisticated Plan Sponsors, Portfolio Managers and Research Teams

Private Wealth Management, Regional Director

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Private Wealth Management (PWM), Regional Director is on the Sales team and reports to the RIA National Sales Manager. The PWM, Regional Director will serve as the regional relationship manager for private banks in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Distribution of WisdomTree’s exchange-traded funds within the largest U.S. private banks
  • Develop new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach within a defined geographic territory
  • Work closely with the PWM, National Accounts Manager to identify new opportunities and establish a regional presence within the PWM regional offices
  • Deliver regional presentations to current and prospective clients through office visits, conference calls, seminars and conferences
  • Manage day-to-day operational duties of your territory to include: managing and tracking sales, lead flow, manage and maintain CRM database, report weekly activities and annual regional marketing budget
  • Ability to explain the ETF structure and benefits versus traditional mutual funds and SMA strategies
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of the ETF and mutual fund industry as well as competitor products and sales strategies to better deliver WisdomTree’s value proposition
  • Ability to adhere to a demanding travel schedule; 75% of travel is required

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the ETP market place preferred
  • Experience building and cultivating relationships within the largest US Private Banks; established relationships preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Success managing Internal Sales partner to gain maximum sales coverage, uncover new sales opportunities and cross sell existing relationships

  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience with private banks, preferably within the ETP market

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • BA/BS required with an emphasis on finance or economics preferred
  • MBA, CFA, CIMA, CFP or other advanced degree/certification is highly desirable
  • Prior experience working within the Private Bank channel and knowledge of bank trust custodial platforms is preferred
  • Analytical skills necessary to analyze and interpret complex investment strategies to influence the sales of WisdomTree’s ETFs
  • Series 7 and 66 required
  • Clean U-4 and no prior-firm contractual restrictions regarding distribution of investment products

Sales Analyst

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking a Sales Analyst for the Data Analytics team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Information Technology departments. We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and strong analytical skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Excel and other tools to perform extensive data analysis and derive insights from data
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and provide analytical results to enable quantitative based decision-making for client-facing sales team
  • Monitor data sources, maintain CRM database integrity, and ensure reporting integrity; be able to troubleshoot and assess data errors.
  • Sales reporting and analysis: Responsible for preparation and distribution of monthly and quarterly sales reports; review monthly performance and provide scorecard reporting
  • Have a deep understanding of our Salesforce CRM and sales processes
  • Prepare presentations and sales reports for management
  • Oversee, and periodically manage, data analytic projects including requirements gathering, proposal generation, testing, documentation, training, implementation and ongoing support processes
  • Partnering with Management and Territory Sales Teams on ad hoc projects

Systems Network Analyst

Job Description

  • WisdomTree is looking for a System/Network Analyst to maintain the stability and configuration of the server and network environments. Systems / Network Analyst is expected to be aware of industry developments in their domain; will engage regularly with Business Analyst / Developers to understand technologies needed to support solutions.
  • Manage and track incidents; ensure resolution in accordance with SLAs; install and configure new hardware, software, and networking configuration.
  • Create a release plan/documentation for all system changes.
  • Maintain and draw on external network of resources (e.g., vendor development contacts, industry experts) to propose new solutions.

Skills & Experience:

Experience

  • 5+ years of server/systems administration (including Novell eDirectory/OES, SUSE Linux, Windows Server)
  • 5+ years in network administration (Cisco certified)
  • 2+ years experience as Sys admin with MS SQL Server
  • Experience in Financial Services not required

Skills

  • Very good knowledge of and experience in server, client and network operating systems
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, protocol analyzers and remote monitoring tools
  • Good knowledge of Wireless networking (familiarity with Aruba hardware a plus)
  • Good understanding of security policy, technical and physical information security safeguards and system administration
  • Ability to diagnose network and systems problems
  • Ability to design and evaluate solutions within technical domain
  • Ability to quickly prioritize tasks and communicate decisions
  • Information reporting tool experience (e.g., IBM Cognos) is a plus
