RIA Regional Director, Midwest

Job Description

The candidate will reside within the Midwest region and is responsible for the following states: AR, IL, IN, KY, MI, MS, OH, TN, WI. WisdomTree’s RIA, Regional Director is on the Sales team and reports to the RIA National Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Distribution of WisdomTree’s exchange-traded funds within the RIA, Family Office and Bank Trust channels
  • Develop new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach within a defined geographic territory
  • Deliver regional presentations to current and prospective clients through office visits, conference calls, seminars and conferences
  • Manage day-to-day operational duties of your territory to include managing and tracking sales, lead flow, manage and maintain CRM database, report weekly activities and annual regional marketing budget
  • Ability to explain the ETF structure and benefits versus traditional mutual funds and SMA strategies
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of the ETF and mutual fund industry as well as competitor products and sales strategies to better deliver WisdomTree’s value proposition
  • Ability to adhere to a demanding travel schedule

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the ETP market place preferred
  • Experience building and cultivating relationships with RIAs, Family Office and Bank Trusts; established relationships preferred

Quantitative Strategist

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is an exciting and growing leader in the ETF industry that offers great benefits in a fast paced, friendly, business casual environment. We are looking for a Quantitative Strategist within our Fixed Income and Currency Group. This candidate will focus on developing quantitative based strategies that can be incorporated into both passively managed indices and rules-based investment processes for active funds. This role will report to the Head of Fixed Income and Currency.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary developer of quantitative based fixed income and multi-asset strategies for creating future products and enhancing existing products
  • Assist Head of Fixed Income in positioning quantitative based products to the sales force and larger external clients
  • Work to develop internal models to enhance investment decision making and risk management
  • Develop written content on fixed income index construction, risk management, and quantitative solutions

Regional Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking Internal Regional Sales Associates across our sales team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. In this role, you will work closely with an established Regional Sales Director to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”). We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a winning attitude.

  • Partner with Regional Directors to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of Prospects via proprietary databases, mass media and referrals
  • Proactively contact key individuals via phone calls and targeted emails
  • Deliver value added commentary, research, data, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
  • Promote sharing and exchange of industry knowledge and trends across the sales team and greater organization
  • Travel within the territory quarterly and attend industry conferences when appropriate

Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BA required, business related degree preferred. Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus
  • Current Series 7 and 63 preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience with a financial services company specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts

Quantitative Equity Strategist

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is an exciting and growing leader in the ETF industry. We are hiring a Quantitative Equity Strategist for our Research Team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters. This candidate will play a key role in helping WisdomTree develop new equity investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to new equity product development through historical testing of index investment strategies
  • Contribute to asset allocation group providing recommendations on investment strategy

Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of quantitative or index investment strategy research, with preference for ETF. indexing, or mutual fund experience
  • Knowledge of academic research in historical factors that drive long-term equity returns
  • Familiarity with domestic, developed international and emerging market equities
  • Experience guiding asset allocation model decision making and developing applications of investment themes
  • Programming experience in MATLAB, SAS, or alternative application for historical return simulations

Certifications:

Index Assistant

Job Description

WisdomTree’s Index Assistant is on the Research team and reports to the Senior Index Analyst. WisdomTree is looking for an entry level analyst that will help the team in its daily functions, particularly those relating to its equity indexes. The primary responsibility will be helping process and update daily index notices, as well as helping with the annual rebalancing and reconstitution process around each of the indexes. This role will also have opportunities to work in other areas within the research team to help with all facets of report and sales material generation. This position represents an opportunity to gain experience working within a growing industry in a fast paced environment.

Core Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Learning all aspects of equity Index management and maintenance
  • Taking a central role in managing the data that comes from each Index’s annual rebalance and reconstitution
  • Helping to maintain current Index reports and information
  • Opportunity to over time present new ways to present Index information and create new types of reports
  • Ability to analyze and automate large datasets within excel
  • Complete ad hoc Index data requests from sales and research teams

RFP Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking an experienced RFP Associate. Responsibilities include serving as project lead on assigned projects, writing and maintaining investment language used within client proposals, and collaborating with sales team and various stakeholders to manage the production and execution of RFPs/RFIs. This individual will also have responsibility for completing due diligence, client and consultant questionnaires and updating existing data. The successful candidate will have experience or in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry. Relevant experience with institutional investors, as well as product knowledge relating to ETPs and ETFs, fixed income, equity and alternative asset classes would be distinct advantages.

  • Complete and coordinate high quality and accurate RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and consultant questionnaires
  • Assist with the development of RFP processes/guidelines and effectively manage timelines while meeting internal and external deadlines
  • Craft new and more complex RFP responses, as well as enhancing existing language
  • Ensure that the Qvidian database is up-to-date with the most recent RFP responses and data
  • Work effectively with various internal groups to process and obtain relevant information for questions
  • Assist RFP Specialist with process of RFP production/assembly including ongoing communication, relationship development and teamwork with Sales team members and subject matter experts throughout the firm; focus on collaboration and drive toward strategic priorities
  • Manage content management database, processes, policies and procedures
  • Focus on continuous improvement and streamlining related to RFP language, process, consultant database content, AUM and personnel reporting, etc.
  • Assist on other projects as assigned

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the investment management industry, with a minimum 2 years of RFP or business writing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience

Compliance Associate

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Associate – Advertising/Marketing Review. The appropriate candidate will have excellent communication skills and prior experience with reviewing advertising/sales literature review for compliance with FINRA/SEC requirements. A minimum of 2-3 years experience is required. The ideal candidate will hold FINRA securities licenses including Series 7 and 24, although this is not a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Review advertising and marketing materials for compliance with FINRA, SEC and to ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Responsible for reviewing social media including social media postings (LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs, YouTube) and for maintaining all policies and procedures related to social media compliance.
  • Assist with testing policies and procedures.
  • Assist with ad hoc compliance projects as necessary.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of Mutual Fund, ETF or Asset Management Compliance Advertising/Marketing experience (Broker/Dealer experience a plus).
  • Knowledge of investment advisory, FINRA and SEC rules, regulations and standards.

Fixed Income Strategist

Job Description

WisdomTree Asset Management is an exciting and growing leader in the ETF industry that offers great benefits in a fast paced, friendly, business casual environment. We are looking for a Fixed Income Strategist, Credit to work within our Fixed Income and Currency Group. This candidate will be the credit based products specialist, while also serving as a generalist with product expertise across the fixed income asset suite. This role will report to the Head of Fixed Income and Currency.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary specialist for credit based products in sales support, product development, and research
  • Provide front-line sales support in soliciting and nurturing large client relationships
  • Assist Head of Fixed Income in positioning credit based funds to the sales force and external clients
  • Participate in the oversight with investment teams of our subadvisor(s) for credit based products
  • Develop written content supporting credit based products

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience, 3+ years focused on credit and corporate debt markets
  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills within a client facing role
  • Knowledge of corporate and other credit based products, expertise in broad based fixed income
  • Willingness to travel (20%-30%)
  • Proven experience in a client facing role
