Arthur Levitt, WisdomTree’s Senior Advisor, was the longest-serving Chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission between July 1993 and February 2001. Since May 2001, Mr. Levitt has acted as Senior Advisor to The Carlyle Group advising the management on strategic business matters. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Williams College (1952), Mr. Levitt served in the U.S. Air Force, and is a former Chairman of the American Stock Exchange and the NYC Urban Development Corporation.
